About the performing fees....

The format....

Ron has been a professional musician for over 40 years, performing as a Classical Guitarist and Vocalist in San Diego, California, and now in the Olympia, Washington, area.

I've had the amazingly good fortune to have studied musical technique and theory with a select group of outstanding Teachers / Performers, including Christopher Parkening, Angel and Pepe Romero on Guitar and, John Delasandro and Mimi Puckett on Vocals. They are first rate Performers and Teachers who are well known and respected in their fields and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to have studied with them.

Performing experiences have included almost all of the major landmarks in San Diego, including the Hotel Del Coronado, The Westgate Hotel, The Rancho Santa Fe Inn and The Rancho Bernardo Inn as well as the world famous Temecula Wineries, in addition to numerous Weddings, formal dinner parties and various Corporate events.

In general, the presentation consists of vocals and instrumentals from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's. Songs that range from Sinatra to the Beatles using the Guitar and Ukulele for accompaniment as well as vocal backing tracks for songs that require a bigger backround such as the "Sinatra" type songs and show tunes, adjusting the mix of songs to fit the Group in attendance.

The way performance fees are determined is to ask what will the current budget allow? I find that most of the Activities directors are pretty honest in their dealings and seem comfortable handling the fees in this manner.
